Sorry about that... I don't remember seeing this exact thread, but I think I had seen something like this suggested before. Like I said, it was kind of just perfect timing to bring up this idea. There are so many great suggestions and I do write a lot of them down on my long wishlist, but it's just hard to get to them all.
Either way, great idea CCP karkur | User Interface Programmer | Team Pirate Unicorns |-á@CCP karkur |

Abulurd Boniface wrote:I can't stop a wry smile when I think of all the kvetching that goes on about this going wrong and that going wrong when time and again, and just now in this magnificent Dev blog, we are treated to a whole pallet of refinement and beauty that will make our lives so much easier. I don't know if this will be seen or not, if I could ask 1 thing of CCP Karkur it would be: would it be at all possible get an inventory view that only shows where all my ships are and maybe show where in space they are distributed on the map. It is already possible to see where inventory is stacked. I have stuff all over the place. I would not want this for all my inventory items, by all means let's keep it practical, but it would be great if I could get a view of where my ships are in space. Thank you. Looking forward to this release. I believe you can do something like "category:ship" in the Search in the Asset window to only show your ships CCP karkur | User Interface Programmer | Team Pirate Unicorns |-á@CCP karkur |

There has always been 1 feature I miss on contracts: Make new contract based on old one, having all options preset as they were on the contract you selected For item exchange that should include: Recipient, contract type, location, item to be traded (if availeble), money to recieve, and especially items to receive in return. But I think it be usefull on other contract types as well. I don't remember what's actually included in it, but do you know about the "copy contract" functionality? Braldt Ironeye wrote:Hrm. I prefer to make do with what's available, but I'm afraid I've got a couple concerns with the latest release.
First, salvage drones seem to be 100% borked with regards to being 'area intelligent'. Previously, if you had a container targeted, or nothing at all, and hit "F" to send your salvagers out, they'd just go do their job. Now they sit there and look at you stupidly. Rather a bit of an irritation having to send drones after each and every wreck, even if they're yours.
Second, can the "insure" button on your right click menu of ships in the hangar be removed? Is there a really strong need for it to be there? It seems rather silly to have it there, especially if you should be preemptive on insuring your ship prior to even considering doing anything, let alone undocking.
Just my two ISK.
Thanks CCP.
The first one is just a defect, has been fixed internally and will be deployed soon.
The second one: I honestly don't understand what you mean. I just added that option there to allow easier access to insure your ship, because before it was difficult to find the correct ship in the ship list and it also takes a while to open it up. I believe you accidentally removed the "insure ship" option from the right click menu in the insurance panel for corporate ships . For a second I thought that it was no longer possible to insure corp ships but the "insure" button on the bottom still works. The "Insure ship" option by right clicking a corp ship in the insurance window however is gone. If you're truly trying to help us "enablers" could we have this back please? Thank you Hmmmm... I'll look into that, not sure why that is. Thank! CCP karkur | User Interface Programmer | Team Pirate Unicorns |-á@CCP karkur |

Niko Lorenzio wrote:P.S. Are you solely responsible for little things or is there a team dedicated to it? There is no team dedicated to Little things, and it's not really my "job", as in I'm mostly working on "features" with my team and do these little things in my "20% time", freetime or dead time between bigger projects. I've mostly worked on my own on implementing these changes, and then of course getting help from other people when it comes to testing. However, I am not the only one who is making changes like that, as CCP Punkturis has also done a bunch (and has some lined up for you).
